ABOUT YACHT

Alkyoni is the latinized form of Greek Alkyone, derived from the word alkyon meaning ``kingfisher``. In Greek myth this name belonged to a daughter of Aeolus and the wife of Ceyx. After her husband was killed in a shipwreck, she threw herself into the water, but the gods saved her and turned them both into kingfishers. Alkyoni is also often used as a name for restaurants and hotels in Greece. Our Alkyoni is a Bavaria Cruiser 41 sailing yacht, which arrived in August 2018 to Rhodes. The Yacht is powerfull equipped with a 60 HP engine, bow thruster, electric toilets, solar panel and bathing platform.
